It is the middle of winter and I am craving fresh tropical flavors and a visit to a warm tropical island. The best way to satisfy my craving is to enjoy a tropical green smoothie bowl made with the best tropical flavors, green goodness and irresistible toppings. Even if you think you don’t like green smoothies, you must give this one a try. It is sweet, refreshing and will fuel you up for your day ahead.
2 ounces spinach
1 cup frozen mango
1 cup frozen pineapple (or Rushmore Essentials Tropical Blend)
1/2 cup coconut water
fresh strawberries, sliced
fresh kiwi, cut into small pieces
banana, cut into small pieces
unsweetened coconut flakes
macadamia nuts, coarsely chopped
Combine spinach blend, banana, mango, pineapple and coconut water in a blender. Blend on high until smooth. Pour smoothie into a bowl and top with strawberries, kiwi, banana, coconut flakes and macadamia nuts, as desired. Serve immediately.
